More details – Tour of Desaru (ToD)


Thanks to Absolute Zero Kelvin Kwek – here's the map to Desaru. http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Tg-Pengelih-Sg-Rengit-Desaru


Total distance about 111km round trip from jetty to Petronas and back. U want more distance – ride from home to Changi and ride home after that!


Can I survive the ride?

Riders must be able to ride @ least 80km in order to enjoy the trip!



We plan to have different pace

1. Fast group … U guys can decide how fast u want to go.

2. 6am pace (31-35km)

3. Advance newbies like 6.20am group



Easy & Stress free riders will have to turn around @ 10.30am to make it back to Sg. Rengit for lunch @ 12. Therefore, carry enough water! Normally there will be a headwind going back to Sg. Rengit.

We target to get back to jetty by 3pm or earlier.

This is a better route as there is very less car...

Because we are short of one boat on our side, some of us will be cycling from Johore Baru to Kota Tinggi/Desaru Petronas Petrol Station (refill stop) to Sg. Rengit for quick lunch @ Good Luck Restaurant (12noon)… and then go to Pengarang to queue for bumboat back. (Vertex Eugene will refund u back ur money)



JB Group will be meeting @ Bus Stop opposite Kranji MRT @ 5.45am and roll off sharp @ 6am to JB immigration.
