Sporty pedelec with a difference! Design for purists who want to strike with "understatement". The tapered rigid fork and the lightweight, triple butted tubes make the frame stiff and fast. The EPO Electric features disc brakes ensure the required braking performance for the higher average speed.
Technologies for the City EPO Electric Bike:

* HPA High Performance Aluminium: For high end, we use High Performance 7005 aluminium alloy which has a very low density combined with high strength due to the special alloy and the hardening heat treatment. By triple butting or even quadruple butted tubing, aluminium tubes are reinforced where required and reduced where possible. In addition we use Special tube shapes, manufactured with Hydroform technology to better cope with the directional forces. The low density and high strength as well as the butting and the Hydroform technology enable us to make high performance frames with an ultimate level of stiffness.
* FSS Frame Save System: To protect our high-end aluminium frames, they are built with the CUBE Frame Save System replaceable derailleur hanger. The thread is in the hanger and not in the frame as usual. In case of a crash, this hanger can be easily and quickly replaced by a new one.
* Integrated Post Mount: The Postmount breaking absorption makes it possible for us to save extra parts. The not needed IS adapter with bolts saves approx. 30 g. This may not seem much, but it shows the potential comprised in the details.
* Integrated Cable Routing: Internally routed cables offer many advantages: clean appearance, cables are protected from dirt and therefore have a considerably longer life and the not required external housing saves weight.
* Wet Paint Surface: On polished and brushed aluminium and all HPC frames the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. We use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.
* Pinhead Secured: Pinhead Theft Resistance provides theft protection. Battery, motor and road wheels are secured with a pinhead lock.
* IFC In Frame Charging: Because of In Frame Charging the battery can be charged in or out of the frame.
* Dynamic E Assist: The motor is developed in Germany and produced in Switzerland. This technical device enables a smooth and strong power transmission saving as much battery power as possible.
