route:

6am Jalan kayu meetup
Punggol loop route increase pace para kawawa yung hindi nagwarm up.
First sprint point (uphill) on the TPE flyover.
Use buangkok bridge shortcut to pasir ris
2nd sprint point is uphill Loyang just b4 the stoplight turning left.
Fast flat to changi coastal
3rd sprint point is at the end of coastal before the road curves right.
720am
Medium to fast pace in ECP service road till fort road.
Increase pace after turning left in Nicol highway
Up on the westcoast viaduct to westcoat
Continue Fast pace in jalan buroh route
4th sprint point on the top of bridge sa may ilog (yung mabaho at may squatter)
break away for this sprint can be done on the mercedes flyover or the tall Penjuru flyover.
845am
Slow to regroup and turn right on Jurong port road
Left on the service road and right afterward to Jalan Boonlay.
Increase pace after PIE to LCK
Cute-is and company can peel off to old CCK.
Usual right turn to Neo Tiew
A breakaway can be staged on the steep portions and on the 2sharp turns.
No sprint point (single lane) and possible traffic
but eternal glory awaits the first rider who crossed the bridge.
Proceed to Kranji Way then turn left to Mandai.
Cute-is and company can peel off here.
950am
Increase pace in mandai for the Orchid ville 6th sprint point.
A breakaway can be established using the Mandai Zoo climb.
6th sprint point is the last upslope used by the LH830
Increase pace again after the SLE flyover
Possible 7th upslope sprint b4 Sembawang road if traffic permits
Downhill to Yishun with medium to fast pace to Seletar dam

OPTIONAL: Seletar loop for a upslope sprintpoint

Lunch at jalan kayu prata house then pasyal sa LBS pedal pro :P

I think the best meeting place would be in mandai shell or in longhouse if we follow this new route.

pwede haluan natin ng 1 mt faber via tiong baru para may uphill sprint point

yung kukulangin sa tubig eh tigil para refill at yung marami pa eh mag additional lap.

di na tau aakyat ng west coast aqueduct at baka marami na trak

tanggalin natin ang punggol loop at dami graba at construction pa ngayon.

The PBB guys doing the FULL RTI wants 6:00 as we all want to be back before the sun is too high...

Yung 6:30 is request ng mga taga Sengkang and beyond....

Since mga bike addict naman kayo kaya nyong mag-adjust sa timing.... right?

Or vice versa.

its just 30mins... does 30
mins rily make a whopping sun diff? just a thot... this is cycling and not bowling... inevitable sun exposure is unavoidable
tour de bintan is a whopping 150++kms i reckon even you start 6am you wont finish it by 10...
besides saturdays are the days you dont have work ...why not make the most out of the mileage and training...

think you should consider having more sleep ... it does wonders you know... :bounce:

think its better once we reach @630 go na agad after pee break and stop farting around(which i think takes more time)....

anyway why not a compromise of trying to be there earlier than 630...
i will just ask fafi to make monster pulls at the front... :talon:

then we stop clowning around then go na after

tapos sa pitstop if ever meron... lets say we spend max 30mins and thats it..then lets go na ... that wud i think save more time
and you guys can be home earlier....

another brlliant suggestion is... why not we increase the pace much faster by lets say 50-100watts then we can be home earlier...

There were someone suggesting to make this ride 7am....

On previous 6am ride, we can reach home by 10:15 am...
Especially if there is no pit-stuff. Were not trying to be anti-social here, it's just that we have our "cute-is" to protect.
Just avoiding the unnecessary sunlight exposure...

30+ of more expose sunlight is too tough expecially when the sun is too high...
30 mins x 4 times a week x 12 = shinning black skin at the end of the year... (etsendyes?)

It's a good thing that TOB happens once a year and not every weekends...
Whenever we are building mileage, we are starting at 4am before joining the group at 6:00 am...

Some members simply have schedule issues - either family & work.
They simply need to be back as early as possible - we cannot question that...

SHALL WE REMOVE THE "JUNK MILES" ON THE RIDE?
Shall we do recovery on "ENDURANCE MILES"?
If we need to wait for someone then that's the time that we can go on "RECOVERY MILES" - i've seen the group cranking 40W!!!
other than than it cab be slow (atlease 100W) but not super slow...

Do we have an accord?


Let me clarify one thing here, recovery & endurance miles of common recreational rider ha hindi ni "Look Bomba"...

600am is better than 630am in full rti not half. so we can have more time to spend with our families and girletzzz during weekend.

para mas maganda..we will have two batch of train leaving at 6am and the 630am!
